I decided to start writing my blog today. I just want to capture what I did and learned in a day or week so that I can come back one year or couple years later and remember what I did these days.
FEMA's Indiviual Assistant's web application has a new requirement of changing ISSAC interface with Choicepoint. Engineer from IA said they want to this feature by the end of this month. So I decided to write code to support this feature this afternoon. Today, Issac Lee was out talking to doctor about his MRI testing result. Potentially that testing result will affect his and my work on ISAAC. Also because he was out today, so I did not need to spend lots of time to help him and can concentrate on my work.
This evening, I continue to read "Rape of Nanjing" by Irish Chang. I read how Japanese army had only 20,000 soldiers. Inside Nanjing, there were more than 50,000 Chinese army. Chinese army did not put up a fight and surrendered to Japanese. When Japanese commander saw that, he lost his respect to these Chinese soldiers. They put these Chinese soldiers into groups of around 100 people and took them to a place and kill them group by group. I felt sad and shame of these Chinese soldiers.
Emily bought a bread machine. She got that two days ago. She opened it yesterday and found out missing some ingredients. So I went to Giant to buy some dry milk and break flour. But she was too busy to make them last night. So tonight is the first night the bread machine is used. The bread was done at about 11 PM. The kids usually sleeps at around 10 PM. Tonight, they would wait until the bread was done. The bread was not that good.
Emily said something about Audrey's piano. Audrey then played the piano crying.
